JOIN OUR TEAM & CONNECT

We invite members of the local community to be part of our Community Food Production Program. This program aims to build a link between members of the local community and the food which they buy from the Farmers Market or green grocer.  Volunteers are provided with the opportunity to participate in the production of their own food by working along side our team in the field.  In exchange for a mornings work we provide an educational experience, inspiration for home production projects, the opportunity to link with other members of the community, and a free box of freshly harvested vegetables and fruit for each participant to take home.

Community work days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 12:30pm.

If you are interested in becoming part of our team please click here to fill in the enquiry form and someone will contact you soon……

  • soil analysis and soil structure to provide the appropriate nutrient balance for individual plants
  • crop rotation and the connection with soil health
  • seed raising and the connection with moon cycles
  • seedling planting techniques to promote strong maturation of plants
  • organic and integrated pest management
  • managing and planning for adverse weather conditions
  • harvesting and post-harvest produce care
